Ulysse Nardin launches Freak S Nomad high quality replica watches in titanium and carbon fiber hybrid

A new chapter in the time display of the iconic Freak series

During the 2024 Watches & Wonders show, Ulysse Nardin launched the Freak S Nomad, a sand-colored version of the Freak. The watch has a diameter of 45 mm and a thickness of 16.65 mm, and the case is made of an innovative hybrid material. It uses titanium as a body, a dark gray PVD-coated titanium bezel and case back (sapphire), and carbon fiber lugs. The basic design of the Freak eliminates the need for a crown. Instead, the bezel acts as the mechanism for adjusting the watch. When the lock at 6 o'clock is raised, it is activated, thus releasing the setting system.

The swiss replica watches is characterized by its unique movement, which at first glance is reminiscent of a spaceship. This appearance is derived from the design of the Caliber UN251 in-house movement, which resembles a flying carousel rotating on an axis. It contains two oscillators, each running at a frequency of 18,000 (2.5 Hz), and the oscillators are treated with Ulysse Nardin's patented DIAMonSIL coating, a diamond and silicon plasma.

Winding is done by Ulysse Nardin's innovative Grinder winding system, an automatic winding system that uses entirely silicon components. Its special feature is that it can be wound efficiently with extremely subtle movements of the case. The rotor is attached to a frame with four arms, which doubles the torque of the automatic system, just like having four pedals instead of two on a bicycle. The movement provides a power reserve of 72 hours. The movement's bridges are coated with anthracite PVD, and the hour disc has a diamond-shaped hand-guilloch pattern made of sand-colored CVD. The minute hand glows light blue in the dark and is filled with Super-LumiNova.
